Ostinato
Michael and Elizabeth Grounds) call themselves Ostinato and play old songs to old people - eight to ten gigs a month at last count, with a range from "Down at the Old Bull and Bush" (1905) to Paul McCartney's "When I'm Sixty Four".
Here Elizabeth is playing her pearl white LP4 Viola in an old folks residence. She uses an amplifier to bring the viola's sound level up to match that of the bassoon - you can see the amplifier with a wireless receiver from the viola on top of it, the lead to the transmitter can be seen running down to Elizabeth's pocket.
