Mykl Lozin is an incredibly versatile and talented internationally recognised violinist and composer.

Add to that - teacher, producer, independent artists consultant, and managing director of the Ascension World Music Production House and his independent label AURA records.

Mykl began his musical career at the age of 10 learning violin, making his first solo debut at the Melbourne Town Hall at 11 years of age.

His first recorded session with a rock band was with Fable records at 14. The single received airplay on the then main commercial rock station 3XY.

In 1974 at 15, Mykl was accepted into the Victorian College of the Arts. He was the youngest person ever to enter this elite tertiary institution, where he studied with the famous violinist - Nathan Guttman, with four years intensive study for his Degree in Music.

In 1977 Mykl was invited to study at the infamous Moscow Conservatoire under tutelage of the world famous concert violinist Valerie Klimov. Mykl graciously declined, preferring first,to complete his studies in Australia.

Over the past two decades, Mykl has gathered a wealth of experience having performed, toured, and recorded in Australia, Fiji, England, Europe, China, Asia and Japan.
Mykl has performed locally, nationally and internationally with symphony orchestras, choirs, rock bands, jazz groups, Irish and country bands.

He is the founder and managing director of the Ascension World Music Production House since 1990. In 1998 he established the independent AURA records label for unique original artists.

An award winning internationally recognised ecclectic fusion violinist and fractal composer. He is an exacting executive producer and continues to be a highly valued music industry consultant and personal motivator offering his 33 years of knowledge and experience freely. He guides many solo artists and bands with amazing insight for a happier and healthier professional musical career.

Mykl has currently appeared on more than 95 albums and CD’s worldwide, also releasing nine of his own original CD’s, three of which reached the semi-finals of the JPS Indie Music Awards in Hollywood for best artist and album of the year 2002.

As a member of “Terra Australis” the winning Tamworth Bush band of the Year 2002 also won the Country Music Independent Awards - Heritage Track of the Year 2002.

On the world stages touring with the late great Dizzy Gillespie to Meatloaf, the Furey’s to Charlie Pride, his performances are always spectacular.
