Callula Killingly

Callula Killingly has been playing the fiddle since she was 4 years old.

She was taught classical violin until the age of 7 and only stopped her lessons when her family moved from Gosford to the Whitsundays.

For the last 4 years she has had lessons with various teachers, and has specialized in traditional tunes.

At 11 years of age, she won an encouragement award from Epoch Musical Instruments at the No Holds Barred Fiddle Championship at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, receiving a beautiful white Epoch electric fiddle.

Although she is not yet a teenager, she is one of the busiest fiddlers you could hope to meet.

She works 3-4 times a week on stage with her Dad and is committed to busking at the Airlie Beach Markets each Saturday morning.

Callula is a fiddler of great promise and one to watch in the future.
