Australian Music Association Convention
September 2004
This year‘s AMAC held at the new Gold Coast Convention Centre proved
yet another success for Epoch, winning a place as a finalist
in the Best Australian Made Product ( second year running). Our
colourful stand won positive accolades from industry friends
and retailers, in particular the new Epoch Viola and Cello models
gaining much interest.
Mykl Lozin, internationally acclaimed classical/rock violinist and
a supportive Epoch player stunned audiences at the AMAC Club night
where he played with Palimpsest ( featuring Tyrone Noonan from George) and
Angry Anderson ( Rose Tattoo) and Bob Spencer, lead guitarist from
the ex Australian legend band The Angels. Mykl certainly
‘went off’ demonstrating the art of rock violin with his custom made
black metallic 5 string Professional Series.

Finalists in the Best Australian Made Product competiton, won
by Rode Microphones. Mark Mitchell of Epoch Musical Instruments
is front row right.
