Epoch violins exhibited for its 4th year at the biggest music instrument show in the southern hemisphere, the Australian Music Association convention, held at Jupiters Casino on Queensland's Gold Coast in September 2003.

Not only was Epoch's trade stand as colourful as ever, but the new upgraded models turned heads, including the new professional series colours.

Highlight of the show was Epoch's sponsorship of the entertainment on the Saturday night barbecue, attended by an estimated 550 guests from around the world. On stage was Fiddlers Festival, a band containing the cream of Australia's fiddler talent.

The Fiddlers Festival has grown from humble beginnings at the Tamworth Country Music Festival eight years ago into one of the most sought after acts at all major festivals around Australia.

The band is dedicated to developing all aspects of Australian fiddle playing through education, composition, school development and international touring. Fiddlers involved with Fiddlers Festival under the musical directorship of Marcus Holden have included George Washingmachine, Mark Oats, Lindsay Martin, Andrew Clermont, Ian Cooper, Clare O'Meara, Ray Schloeffel, Lindsay Martin, Jane Brownlee, Nigel Maclean and Mick Kerin.

The Fiddlers Festival is now recognised as Australia's premier fiddle band.
